Phanie Mixelle (she/her/they/them/ella) founded Apothecary For The People (AFTP) in 2016 as an official platform for plant medicine. With grassroots beginnings, their work with AFTP is rooted in a commitment to social and environmental justice, restorative learning and cultural preservation.

Phanie brings over 17 years of education and practice in land stewardship, ecological design, culinary arts, phytotherapy and advocacy.

Their work is guided by a deep respect for the sacred bond between people, the planet, and ancestral remembrance.
